With the advent of ‘online marketing’ as a powerful promotional and marketing tool, it is obvious that consumers would not be willing to purchase goods and services from a ‘stranger’. Understandably, it becomes an absolute necessity to build up the highest level of confidence in the minds of consumers on the products one is offering. One method by which a seller can assure this phenomenon to a prospective buyer is to increase his ‘online’ presence, quite prominently with continuous updates and postings on the social media. In addition, ‘off-line networking’ greatly helps sellers to re-assure the buyers of the genuineness of their products and services.
There are several methods of establishing greater relationship with consumers. For instance, sending birthday wishes, greeting them on their wedding anniversaries, surprising them with the reward points gained by them and suggesting ways to redeem them during their next purchase are some of the prominent methods by which an enduring relationship could be built with your clients.
Keeping an eye only on ‘profitability’ as the sole objective of a business venture has long been discarded by the world of business as it is the consumer that can recognize and help a business to grow. In a nutshell, the survival or exit of a company solely depends upon consumer satisfaction. So, the old dictum ‘Customer is King’ stands valid, even today. A customer expects easy accessibility to redress and resolve his grievances as early as possible.
In the same tone, tourism is not only a great forex-earner but a great job generation tool, as well. Tourism, for many countries, is the primary source of revenue-generation where revenue from tourism is well over 50% of the Gross Domestic Product.
In this wonderful scenario, may we extend a warm welcome to you to be part of the upcoming conference in the fabulous and vibrant city state of Singapore?
The upcoming conference in Singapore aims at achieving the following objectives.
a) To bring together experts in the field of marketing and tourism to present their research findings in front of the global audience in order to spread out the best practices. It also aims at increasing our understanding of the expectations of tourists and consumers;
b) To encourage like-minded academicians to identify collaborative research opportunities in order to advance knowledge and address regional, national and international issues in the above areas and to remove any barriers to effective marketing and tourism; and,
c) To provide an ideal platform for the research community to continuously interact and contribute to the growth and development of the above two important areas, i.e., marketing and tourism.
