You are most welcome to the upcoming International Conference on Human Resources & Talent Management (HRC18Taiwan Conference) which will be held in the beautiful city of Taipei-Taiwan from December 21-22, 2018.
May we welcome you to submit your research papers/abstracts/case studies/posters in all areas of Human Resources & Talent Management research. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) focuses on ensuring that business establishments and corporate enterprises do their business activities in a responsible, ethical and sustainable manner in addition to offering greater support to the society. In a way, the business establishments are expected to carefully consider and work for social, economic and environmental causes. Dignity of labour and harmonious relationship with the stakeholders are other important aspects companies have to ensure in order to survive and sustain in the long-run.
CSR initiatives could take various forms which includes community outreach, working with the society, socially responsible investments, good and cordial relationship with different stakeholders including employees, investors and government etc., More importantly, companies should take all the necessary measures to protect the environment.
Against this backdrop, the upcoming academic research conference in the beautiful city of Taipei would make an attempt to achieve the following objectives:
a) identify key areas in which CSR activities could be initiated by business establishments and companies;
b) provide an ideal platform for practicing managers, executives, academicians, researchers and other participants to share their research and practical experiences on all the major issues highlighted as above in organizations;
c) examine the best CSR initiatives (through meaningful debate/discussions) introduced by companies functioning in different parts of the world and suggest the same to the conference delegates;
d) offer suitable suggestions to improve the way business is conducted, particularly in CSR aspects so that companies can do their contributions in a focused and responsible manner.
