Academic research indicates that age-old marketing techniques do not help improving your client-base and are less effective in attracting and retaining them. Of late, marketing companies and executives are looking for other means of selling their products and services in this highly competitive global business landscape. ‘Content Marketing’ is a fast-emerging medium where one can successfully reach to the desired and prospective customers with the updated information about the products and services.
It is quite interesting to note that this emerging tool uses many novel methods to attract new client-base. For instance, new resources such as e-books, white papers and several information pertaining to the products are constantly transformed to the prospective clients who, in turn, get attracted to the products and tend to buy them, later.
One of the critical challenges being faced by the marketers is, quite obviously, creating new clients and markets for their products and services.
In many instances, businesses struggle with generating new demand. Moblie Apps and technology have created new dimensions to the way marketing activities happen, today.
The growing complexity of buyer behavior is yet another greater challenge being faced by the buyers.
However, demand generation is understandably, the most critical and a challenging aspect for today’s business. Sales and marketing force is expected to generate fresh demands for the products and services. ‘Content Marketing’ is an interesting and reliable tool which one can use to generate new markets and new demands for their products provided they use this strategy in an ideal way.
Tourism is accorded top priority by many governments as it is helpful not only in generating employment opportunities for millions of people but also helps ensuring growth of GDP for many economies. It is also considered as the largest export industry in many countries, today. Yet another interesting aspect is that this industry can offer employment to both skilled and unskilled segment of the society.
This upcoming conference in Vienna-Austria aims at offering greater experience to the global academic community to gain fresh ideas and insights on marketing, tourism and hospitality-related industries.
In addition, it is our endeavor to offer a platform for industry-practitioners, academicians and researchers to share their knowledge and ideas in this growing field.
We do, of course, encourage inter-disciplinary research in tourism, marketing and related fields in order to address the challenges being faced by this sector.
Both conceptual and application-oriented papers are invited for presentation. In addition to oral presentation, posters are also accepted.
All are cordially invited to this exciting conference in June, 2019!
